Halloween Party (open RP)

Chuck donned his ren faire ruffled shirt and vest once again. Although he would eventually break into the Sandworm costume, he thought to have something costume-ish on in the meantime.

The courtyard outside Chuck and Ellie's apartment was decorated with Halloween lights and spooky decorations. Music played as costumed guests mingled with one another while a couple were helping themselves to the snacks and punch set up on a table at the edge of the courtyard.

"You're welcome, I hope that you do so you'll have good luck." With another laugh she glanced down. "I like your suit, very stylish."

She beams, because there is nothing she likes more than talking about herself. "It's going perfectly, as usual. In fact, I just don't think life could get any better than it is right now."

"A water maiden?" He's definitely not heard of one.

"Yes, he is a live person. Salome, this is Ando."

"Did you invite the entire Nerd Herd or just kept it to the friends and family?"

He rested his gun against his shoulder. "Thank you," he said again. "You look very nice."

"We've talked about this before, you just don't remember." She grinned at him before leaning in to kiss his cheek. "She lives in the water and when she walks on land flowers bloom and if you pick the flowers you'll be happy and have good luck!"

She hands him one of the bouquets of little yellow and white flowers.

"I have even more than luck," Hiro beams, smelling the flowers. He kisses her on the cheek as his arms go around her waist.

"Oh? How's that?" Grinning she wraps her arms around his neck.

"Um, Frank Oz isn't dead yet. Jim Henson is though..."

"Well...I was kinda scared to invite Jeff since...well, he'd probably get sloshed and act...well crazy."

"You're welcome. Glad you're enjoying the party." Chuck then smiled.

Chuck grinned. "That's great!"

"Uh." Salome was silent for a moment. "Well my little dabble into the world of heroin has come to an end." Laughing she rubbed her forehead and sighed, "you're right, I'm out of it."

Chuck chuckled. "It's okay. You just got the Muppet people mixed up."

"At least I managed to get two Muppet people! Still I feel kinda silly, oh well." With a shrug she continues to grin. "So, besides Stanford, which is huge! How have you been, what's new?"

"Are we being the cryptic one?" Casey replied with a slight eyeroll.

"Hey, you do deserve a break once in awhile too."

"Well...I think that's my big news for awhile. I can't believe that finally happened. It was almost like a shock when I got that diploma. But other than that, nothing's really change. Still at the Buy More. We got a new assistant manager that seems like he won't be all that fun to deal with though."

"We might be, we also might struggle with basic word definition." She rolled her own eyes at him and then stuck out her tongue.

"Actually I don't think I do, something in the young unwed mother papers."

"I can imagine, did you have a party or something because I think you deserve a HUGE party for that." Grinning she raised an eyebrow. "Is he the epitome of all that is evil?"

"That makes sense. Jeff is kind of scary sometimes."

"No...no huge party yet. I think...I dunno something more low key. Just like a dinner with close family and friends and stuff." Chuck shrugged. "I mean...we're having a party now. I know it's for Halloween but...I mean, how many parties...can someone really have?"

Chuck then added, "As for Emmett, the new assistant manager...I dunno if he's that evil yet. He hasn't been along long enough to compare to the last one, Harry Tang."

"He was a Missile Command champion back in the day though. That was kinda interesting to find out."

"Well, if you do it right you can rock and roll all day and party every night but even that gets old after awhile." Party people usual were party people simply because there was nothing else in their lives. She didn't say that though.

"Harry Tang? That sounds almost dirty. What was his deal?"

"If you never signed those papers, they agreement was never binding," Casey then smirked a bit.

"It's true. Though they do say that the opposite of love is not hate but indifference."

Tilting her head to the side she put her hands on her hips and gave him a look. "You don't really sign them, they are kind of just thrust upon you."
