Halloween Party (open RP)

Chuck donned his ren faire ruffled shirt and vest once again. Although he would eventually break into the Sandworm costume, he thought to have something costume-ish on in the meantime.

The courtyard outside Chuck and Ellie's apartment was decorated with Halloween lights and spooky decorations. Music played as costumed guests mingled with one another while a couple were helping themselves to the snacks and punch set up on a table at the edge of the courtyard.

Hiro and Ando show up dressed as Jay and Kay. Much as Hiro is the shorter one, he's Jay, armed with tiny Cricket gun. The guns, of course, make the noises from the movie. They both look pretty good in matching black suits and shades.

"Trick or treat?" Hiro says tentatively, peering over the shades.

Ando grinned and swept his gun over the room. He looked cool. That's all that mattered.

Hiro shakes his head a bit, though he does have to admit they look good. "We are badass."

"We are," he agreed with a slight smirk. He drew himself up confidently.

"I wonder where everyone else is. Isn't this place cool? They have this nice courtyard and everything to have parties in."

Chuck approaches Hiro and grins. "Hey! Glad you could make it!"

Well of COURSE she's going to show up to her brother's party. In fact, she took off early from another event just to be here because she cares that much.

Besides, the cozier events tended to be so much more fun anyway.

So there she was in her cute little fifties pin up costume, wondering what the proper etiquette was for these kinds of things.

He looked around. "It is pretty cool," he said. "Let's get something to drink."

Jack arrived wearing his Clark Kent costume that he had done the day before with Aaron. He was glad that he didn't have to move until after the party so that he could see this Sandworm costume that he's heard so much about.

Chuck saw K'tanya arrive and walked over to her. "Happy Halloween, sis." He smiled and then said, "Nice costume!"

Chuck walked over to Jack and grinned. "Glad you could make it, Jack."

"What, this old thing?" Then she grinned and looked him over for a moment before lifting an eyebrow slightly. "Pirate?"

"Oh I wouldn't have missed it," Jack replied with a grin. "Though I can't tell what Hiro and Ando are supposed to be. Two of the Crazy 88s from Kill Bill?"

"Oh good! I was worried that no one else was here, but we just got here. Ando wants a drink. Do you have a bar?" He looks sort of sheepish. "They did not have any 'Star Wars' costumes available. We thought 'Men in Black' worked nicely."

"You're here! Clark Kent, neh?"

"Well the party pretty much got started so I think some other folks will be arriving in a bit," Chuck replied with a nod. "We, well, don't really have a bar. We have some beers though if that's okay?"

Chuck took a closer look at Hiro and Ando's costumes and grinned, "Niiice! You even have the cricket guns. That's really cool."

Chuck smiled. "It still looks very nice." He then glanced at himself and said, "Well, yeah, pretty much. It's basically what I wore to the ren faire I went to this year. When Morgan arrives, I'll get into the Sandworm costume with him but for now, I wanted to be in some sort of costume."

"Clark Kent, good choice," Chuck said admiring Jack's costume. He then looked back towards Hiro and Ando. "Never saw 'Men in Black' huh?"

"And he got Kay's gun. He's taller so he should be Jay, but he wanted the big gun." Hiro sort of rolls his eyes, but it's very much in keeping with Ando. "He will also be scoping out any of the single ladies. Hopefully your sister will not get another fan."

There's beer available, but not much else. Hiro goes for a coke, figuring that he should be sober to get himself and Ando back to Japan in one piece.

"Oh, wait! I did. I guess I just didn't get it. Now that you mention it I can tell though." He added a bit sheepishly, "especially considering they have guns and not swords."

"Yes! I had to do it. After all that talk and Comic Con I couldn't think of anything else."

"You do it very well. The glasses are especially good ones."

"Hey, whatever works," Chuck replied with a shrug. Chuck then turns and spies Ellie in the crowd. "Yeah, well, she's not single...so...he'll have to deal with Captain Awesome if he tries anything..."

"It's okay," Chuck assures his friend. "By the way, how's the packing and stuff going? I still can't believe you're going to be moving soon."
