OOC: Can you say spoilers for tonight's episode?

Well...interesting cliffhanger there. What's been discussed in episode 2 seems to be coming to light. Of course, it's all a matter of how they'll resolve that whole 'Chuck marked for death' thing. I'm still thinking Chuck gets upgraded somehow.

Or maybe Bryce shows up again. That's another possibility.

Sarah seemed awfully distant in this episode. But I think she's just got a lot of thinking to do. That and the whole 'you can't control your emotions' bit was probably wearing on her too.

I wonder when episodes 12 & 13 are coming. I've read ahead a bit so I have some idea of what's to come whenever they air.

I agree. I think Chuck's going to get an upgrade soon. Either that or something seriously bad is going to happen to the beta version.

Wonder if Bryce will rescue Chuck.

Bryce might. I haven't heard he comes back though (at least not in those next 2 episodes).

Maybe a little of both will happen. Not only will Chuck get upgraded but also something bad will happen to the Intersect 2.0.

It'd be interesting to see if Bryce indeeds end up rescuing Chuck. He can't be completely unaware of the fact that the Intersect was about to be upgraded, so he may very well make certain that it gets into Chuck's brain. It may very well be what causes the problems with the beta Intersect.

Right. In fact, that might have been one part of the reason Bryce was sent to destroy the Intersect.

All we've seen of the Intersect is this big room of flashing images and one terminal thing. I mean...how many people can decode subliminal imagery?

Considering that Bryce went out of his way to make certain that Chuck never was recruited, he must have understood something about Chuck's talents that made him worried that Chuck would be destroyed by working for them.

I think so. Some have guessed maybe Chuck would have been turned into something like Laszlo was.

Either that or whatever that Omaha project was one really dangerous mission after all.

And the fact that Bryce said to Sarah, "We'll always have Omaha." So...were they working on that project together? Maybe that's how they first met? I'm thinking maybe that's it.

Either they met there or it was a particularly significant time for them. But I think they must have worked on the project.

"So let me get this straight Bryce...you got me kicked out of Stanford so I didn't work on this Omaha project. And during this Omaha project, you and Sarah hooked up. So...basically you saved me from working on a project with my sorta girlfriend. Or maybe stole my girlfriend again...but in the past. Or something."
