Morgan, Jeff and I made the local newspaper. Oh and Big Mike too. But I swear Morgan had such a suck up line. I think he was trying too hard to make the paper. Of course, the fact that he did get quoted shows that his line worked, but still...

Buy More Robbery - Elaborate Prank?
By Leslie Miller, Staff Writer
The Burbank Buy More robbery is leaving local police scratching their heads. The electronics mega store was stripped of all of its merchandise Thursday evening. And even more baffling? All of the missing items were returned a day later.
Manager 'Big Mike' had attributed the return of the stolen goods to "the power of positive thinking." But some of the store's employees offered other theories.
"Maybe we had some weird paranormal visitor," suggested Jeff Barnes a member of the Buy More's tech support group, the Nerd Herd.
"It could have been an elaborate prank," Nerd Herd supervisor Chuck Bartowski suggested. "You know, like maybe a bunch of kids from CalTech stole everything and brought it back. Maybe it was a prank like you hear about the students at MIT doing, you know? They seem to steal some item and stick it on top of the dome, right?"
But sales representative Morgan Grimes seemed to sum up the feelings of most of the store's staff by saying, "Hey, no one was hurt and we got everything back. A total win-win."
Whether the robbery was carried out by thieves who had a sudden change of heart, or it was an elaborate stunt by local CalTech students, or even some sort of paranormal visitor, local residents may never know for certain.
One certainty is that the electronics retailer has reopened for business this morning.
