Exactly. I'd try to do what I could to help the lady if her computer was stolen though. Maybe try to find a way to at least get the store to pay what the computer was worth. That poor lady...at first Best Buy was going to give her less than what her computer was worth. That's not very fair.

No, it is not. In that kind of situation, they should offer a slightly better computer than the one that was stolen. Perhaps not the top of the line (unless that is what she bought), but something close to what she lost.

Definitely. I mean, there's could be stuff on there that maybe she bought - like iTunes downloads. She'd should be reimbursed for those things too.

Plus she probably has some personal stuff on there like pictures. I dunno what price you can put on stuff like that, you know?
