Meme from Connie and Hiro

I am one of the pack.

To you, we just look like just another collection of college kids and information technology workers. Healthy and fit, sure, but there's nothing weird about that. We're easy prey for the things that go bump in the night.

Bad assumption, buddy. When things go bump in the night, we bump them back, hard. You're a Big Nasty and ready to eat one of us? Look around you, buddy. Your meal has friends. And they can all turn into wolves.

I'm one of the Alphas. You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us. And the world's just a little bit safer because of it.

I can turn into a wolf?

Total guess? This guy doesn't go searching for trouble and wishes things could all be peaceful and stuff. But he'll play hero when asked? *shrugs*

I guess that could be me, though I'm uncomfortable with the whole "hero" thing.

Being a hero in general or being a sort of, um, on call hero?

Either. The title just has too many expectations.

Yeah, and unfortunately I don't own a cape.

Superman has one and I've been told that he's my alter ego.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
All right then. We'll just have to get you a cape.

Trust me, with Comic Con a couple months away, it shouldn't be too hard to find one.

Sounds like fun, though I admit that I don't know much about it.

Basically, there's meet and greets and panel discussions. And exhibits and booths where you can buy stuff.

It's fun. Morgan and I had a blast last year.

So is it all for comic books or is there sci-fi stuff too?

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
There were screenings for upcoming sci-fi show pilots and some Q & A sessions with the cast and crew.

And they had a whole Star Wars theme day last year too.

[identity profile] not-a-savage.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Now Star Wars I can get into! I'm not a big comic reader, but I can appreciate Wookiees.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
All right! *grins*

So you're a Wookiee fan, I take it?

That reminds me...I saw a preview for a whole Star Wars themed game on Deal or No Deal. And from the previews, I saw they actually had Chewbacca and Stormtroopers and everything. It airs this coming Monday.

ooc: Something tells me there could be such crack!fic between my two muses, *lol*

[identity profile] not-a-savage.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 06:02 am (UTC)(link)
Yes! Chewbacca seems like he'd be a great friend.

Really? You might have to remind me to watch later. I tend to forget about tv.

OOC: You SO should!

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 02:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, definitely.

All right, I'll give you a heads up closer to when it airs.

ooc: I'm tempted. *g*
