TM #229 - Getting Someone Drunk

If you could get anyone drunk, who would it be and what would you do?

Okay...why would I get someone drunk? That...just...no. I wouldn't.

Though I did wake up one morning to find out what would happen if Morgan found himself with an intoxicated Ellie.

No, my best friend did not get my sister drunk. She got herself drunk. You see, she and Awesome had a major fight and Awesome spent the night elsewhere. (I think with a friend of his.)

Anyway, I didn't know Ellie had been drinking that night. I had gone to visit Casey who was...having a bad day. And, uh, he actually was having a pity party of his own, drinking scotch and listening to Neil Diamond when I found him. I was attempting to cheer him up and stuff.

While I was there, and while I was attempting to stop a wedding, but that's a whole other story , Sarah came to visit me, not knowing I wasn't at home. Ellie answered the door and Sarah found her quite, um, well, tipsy. Then Sarah got a phone call and had to leave since Casey and I needed backup and on her way out, she ran into Morgan.

She asked Morgan if he'd stay with Ellie and he did.

So my sister, whose judgment was considerably compromised by way too much wine, was now alone....with Morgan who has had a crush on my sister for years.

And while this sounds like the beginning of some Lifetime Movie plot, don't worry. Morgan didn't do anything to Ellie. He did sleep next to her but...that's all he did.

Even Awesome didn't think anything, you know...happened between Morgan and Ellie when he came home the next morning.

Oh and when he did? He and Ellie made up. So everything thankfully worked out.

Because he describes just about anything as being 'awesome.'

Ah, one of those adjective-phobes.

*laughs* Maybe that's what he is.

I mean, he's a doctor and all so he could use a decent vocabulary. He just kinda uses 'awesome' as his word of choice I guess.

Oh some sorta ER doctor. I kinda forgot if he has a specialty or anything.

ooc: I don't remember the series saying what exact sort of doctor he is. ^^;

Ah. They tend to be more hurried than the rest of us, so perhaps that explains his lack of vocabulary.

Maybe.

Or maybe one of his white water rafting trips washed some of his vocabulary outta his head. *snickers*

Just kidding.

*grins a bit* True.

You know...I uh, don't think I caught your name. I-I'm Chuck, by the way.

*smiles a bit* Nice to meet you, Julianna.

You, too, Chuck.
