Human shield. There sure are some crazy memes out there, huh?

Those couple of times I was used as one were scary enough though. I hope I don't have to go through that again.

I am not certain I would like to be a human shield. Usually it is bad guys that do that to people!

Yeah...the whole gun to the head thing...um...not something...I want to go through...again.

Or get shot. I mean, even though I had a bullet proof vest on...it still hurt!

But if you get shot in the head, you would not have survived. I am happy you had on a bullet proof vest. I have heard that it hurts to get hit but better to hurt than be dead.

I suppose in one sense it kinda was. But I mean, it never was a perfect alliance.

Besides, it made for a bunch of different storylines on Next Generation.

It couldn't be perfect. The Klingons had no real respect for humans as a species. They respected certain individuals, but they still saw humans as weak.

Do you think Counsellor Troi should have been with Warf or with Riker?

Well yeah. But every little thing seemed like it would 'plunge the Klingon Empire into civil war!' So they had some serious issues too.

I think Riker was the guy she probably should have been with.

The Klingons were probably a very loose confederation of families. It seemed that their families were more important than their central government.

I think Warf was better with Dax. The older Dax, not the younger one.

Yeah, that and honor seemed to be really important to them too.

I can understand that. Honor is very important back home.

I thought the second Dax was far too young for anyone.
