I dunno if I believe in that whole Numerology thing but...you know, for just entering my whole legal name, it sounds pretty close to how I am.

Though I'm not sure if I'd end up as a mystic or anything...

In many ways you are dependent on others and seem to function best in a partnership or in some form of group activity. *Hiro is nowhere near as good as Chuck at this game, but he's watching Chuck pretty closely as he plays.*

*Chuck explains the basic controls of the game to Hiro.*

...And then you use this button to target and this one to fire.

*Hiro nods.* You teach very well. Did you ever consider it for a career?

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-05-17 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
No, can't say I have. But maybe it might not be a bad idea. Maybe a gamer school...or more practically, a basic tech support school.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-05-18 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
"Most certainly. A school with small children or teenagers would not be a good idea." He shudders to think of it.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-05-18 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
*shrugs* I don't mind kids really. But maybe one-on-one is better than having to deal with a lot.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-05-18 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
I agree. I would prefer being able to teach one-on-one. I do not like the detachment of a large classroom.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-05-18 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I don't see me being able to really be a classroom teacher either.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-05-18 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
No, you do much better when you have a student you relate to, not when you just tell a bunch of people in a group.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-05-18 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
*nods* Plus you can give that kid your full attention.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-05-18 05:09 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. And you will know whether or not they want to learn. If they do not, then you do not need to waste your time.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-05-18 05:15 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, though sometimes it's all in the approach. Sometimes you gotta show why it's a good thing to want to learn.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-05-18 05:28 am (UTC)(link)
Very much so. Many times it is a matter of just finding the key that makes it more interesting to them.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-05-19 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
Of course, with the current "situation", you will not be able to teach until such time as the "situation" is resolved.

Or, if I did, my 'assistant teacher' would be some undercover agent.

Which would make the teaching a little uncomfortable, especially with Casey. He may feel a need to interject some of his "wisdom".

*imitating a little kid*

Mooommm.....Mr. Casey scared me again today!

*Hiro snickers.* Adults find him frightening, let alone little children. Parents would call you and tell you never to let him anywhere near them again.

This is probably why Sarah would be the assistant, not Casey. Maybe he'd be like...the principal or something.

Casey would be the sadistic coach.

Or the evil gym teacher. *snickers*
