TM #239 - Hair

You know, I was talking to Randy about how weird this topic was and how I had no idea what to say in response to it. I kinda mentioned to him that I remembered seeing a hairy guy sitting at pool that looked like a Wookiee in a speedo but that's probably not something people wanna read about.

[Locked to those who know of his secret life] Don't worry, I didn't mention who the guy was or why we were at his house or anything. And Randy didn't ask any other questions so I left it at that. [/unlocked]

So then I started thinking and I remembered one time when my sister Ellie said something weird about my hair. Granted, she was poisoned by some nut case then so...yeah, it was like she was really drunk or high at the time.

Anyway, Ellie said that I needed a haircut because my hair was "making funny animal shapes." I dunno even know how hair can do that. But it was kinda...I dunno...all over the place, I guess. Maybe that's what she meant. Cuz if she was actually seeing like silhouettes of animals in my hair...well, yeah, she was kinda gone at the time, right?

So, uh...well...that's all I can think of to say for this topic.

Hey, a man's hair is his own business. If you like it like that, don't listen to yar sister.
I don't see any animals, btw.

I think she just said that since she was really out of it. Ellie hasn't mentioned it since she got the antidote. So, that's a good thing.

I see no animals in your hair. Sometimes you like it messy, like I do. I sometimes wish I did not have to keep it neat.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-07-13 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)
That's good. Sometimes I do...sometimes it just won't do anything and I give up.

If you didn't have to have your hair all nice for work...would you do the 'bed-head look' thing?

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-07-13 09:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Hair can be very arbitrary when it wishes to be.

Yes, I would. I have been told that I do bed-head well. Although my sister would be very scandalized.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-07-13 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)
It sure can.

Well, if you're not working that day...would it really matter if you were out an about with the bed-head look?

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-07-13 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I tend to do the bed-head look when I am not working. Ando makes fun of it, though. He crops his close so that it all stands up and he does not have to have much done to it.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-07-13 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Why does he make fun of it?

And...well, that makes it pretty easy to manage like that.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-07-13 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
He sees it as a sign of laziness. And he thinks I'm lazy enough. Of course, pointing out that doing his hair as he does is as much a sign of laziness.

Kinda the pot calling the kettle black there...

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-07-14 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
That happens a lot.

My thoughts on Chewbacca are forever altered...

Sorry man...I know it's a disturbing mental image.

But seriously - that guy I saw was too hairy to wear a speedo. *shudders*

[identity profile] not-a-savage.livejournal.com 2008-07-17 11:09 am (UTC)(link)
Most people shouldn't wear them regardless of hair. I think professional divers and swimmers are about the only exception because they have to.

Yeah...I think you're right.

Remind me never to show you Awesome's Halloween costume from last year.

I have to ask what it was now. I know I'll regret it.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-07-23 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
He was Adam and my sister was Eve. So...well, he just had a flesh colored, um, bathing suit thing on with the leaf on it.

[identity profile] not-a-savage.livejournal.com 2008-07-23 07:55 pm (UTC)(link)
As scarring as that is, I think it would be worse seeing my sister as Eve. Then again, I don't have a sister so I'm not much help there.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-07-23 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Well...her costume wasn't quite as bad. Her stomach was exposed and the skirt was kinda short but she had a lot of leaves covering her.
