Writer's Block: The Best Invention

Wow, tough question. I mean...the computer is probably the best all around item ever. You can play games, communicate with people, get your news from all over the world...
And pretty much lock yourself away from civilization for a little while.

*blinks* That's pretty brave of her to do that during an interview.

And it wasn't even during an interview. It was during an awards ceremony that was publicly televised. It really was a ballsy thing to do. I think that's why he told me to hire her.
She did some good work for us though, this summer. She only did an internship and I have no clue if she'll want to come back, but it was worth having her around.
If those companies won't take you at your word and jerk you around, then you probably wouldn't like working there anyways.

I'm kinda surprised after that she really wanted to work for the company though and do actual work saying stuff like that. But hey, that's good she actually id her job there.
In a way, you're right. But...I'd love to actually have a career rather than a job someday.

Probably not a big shock there... *shakes head*
That's really nice of you offering to keep an ear open. Thanks so much. *smiles a bit shyly*

And hey, no problem. I may be leaving my particular field, but it doesn't mean I'm leaving all my contacts behind.

Well it's always good to stay in touch, right?

I know what you meant and didn't mean to be too snarky for that. I just tend to make...well kinda dumb jokes now and then - just to warn ya.

Oh, and I wasn't offended at all. I worked for Tony Stark. Nothing offends me.

*in his regular voice* I can't quite picture me in a cowboy hat though.
Well that's good. I mean, that you weren't offended and stuff. I...uh, take it Tony said a lot of things while you worked for him, huh?

Tony said the most ridiculous things ever. He even kissed me at my own wedding. Lovely pictures of that, let me tell you.

*blinks* That...must have been...awkward for the groom.
no subject
And yes. Very awkward. Considering Tony was Happy's best man. *sigh* Was not pleasant. Thankfully it happened near the end and we made our escape. He did apologize afterwards.

Okay, that's a double ouch right there. C-can I ask...was he, you know, drunk at the time?
no subject
Yes, he was drunk. That was during his drunk years. When he almost lost the company. It's all public knowledge.
I think that was the point where I really pressured him to get some help. I don't know how well he's doing with it now, but at least he's not letting it interfere anymore.
