"Sarah...can I talk to you for a sec?"

"Sure." Sarah said as she nodded, "What's going on?"

"Well kinda two things...nothing really bad or anything. But...well, I was talking to Hiro and we got onto the subject of the whole Bryce getting me kicked outta school thing. And Hiro kept asking why Bryce would do something like that. And...I kinda wanted to tell him about...you know, that file we saw and stuff but...I didn't wanna break my promise to you. So I just told him I couldn't tell him the whole story," Chuck began in a bit of a ramble.

He then took a breath and asked, "W-would it be okay if...sometime...maybe I told Hiro about all that? Or some of that...if...you feel there's maybe only part of it I can talk about, that's okay too. But I definitely wanted to ask you before I said anything to him."

Sarah sighed, thinking. She knew it was important for Chuck to let his friend know that he didn't get expelled for cheating. Most people knew that the government looked for top college students to serve in the intelligence agencies. Bryce was Chuck's friend....

"Hiro can keep it quiet?"

Chuck nodded and replied, "I-I think so. He's kept all this...about what I can do and how you and Casey are undercover agents a secret. He's been really good about that. I-I think he could be trusted to keep this a secret too."

Sarah nodded a little, still not giving her answer right away. Chuck didn't pick anyone to be his friend, Hiro should be fine. She just worried about how Casey would react.

"As long as Casey doesn't find out...it should be fine."

Chuck gave a bit of a shrug. "I don't see Hiro really telling Casey. I mean...I haven't even seen Hiro talk to him all that much. But...I can tell Hiro not to tell Casey, just in case."

"Right...but it's better to be safe than to have Casey find out."

Chuck nodded. "You're right. I'll definitely tell him not to tell Casey."

He paused, thinking for a moment before he added, "And...is there anything you don't want me to tell Hiro about Bryce or anything? I just...wanna be sure before I say anything."

Sarah shook her head a little, "I guess not. I mean he doesn't need to know anything...too personal...."

Chuck nodded. "Right...I understand." There was an awkward pause and then Chuck quickly added, "I'll leave out...the Bryce and you together thing."

He took a breath and smiled a bit nervously. "Thanks Sarah...for being understanding about all this. And...um, there was one other thing I wanted to ask you...a friend of mine is getting married and invited me to her wedding. I was wondering if it was okay to go and if you'd like to come with me. Her name's Marie but she goes by Rogue. Long story. But...anyway...would that be okay if we go?"

Sarah smiled a little, "Sure. I'd like to go, just tell me when."

"It's September sixth," Chuck replied. "Let me go and get the invitation."

After finding it, he returned and handed the invitation to Sarah.
