Halloween Party (open RP)
ooc: This post is open to everyone. Your character can drop by IC, metaly or via bendy time too. Whatever works. :) Feel to play and have fun!
Chuck donned his ren faire ruffled shirt and vest once again. Although he would eventually break into the Sandworm costume, he thought to have something costume-ish on in the meantime.
The courtyard outside Chuck and Ellie's apartment was decorated with Halloween lights and spooky decorations. Music played as costumed guests mingled with one another while a couple were helping themselves to the snacks and punch set up on a table at the edge of the courtyard.

She nodded seriously. "Yes, the water maiden comes out of the water and where she steps flowers bloom and those flowers will bring people good luck and happiness."

"Sounds like a nice story."
no subject
Rocking back and forth on her heels she shrugged. "What makes you think it's just a story?"
no subject
Casey gave a sort of, "Yeah right" look. "Because it is."
no subject
"No, it's true! Just trust me on this."
no subject
"So are you a water maiden or a pod person? Because then the flowers won't work if you're a pod person." He then laughed.
no subject
"I really like how you just interject this earth logic of yours into this conversation. Pod me is at home, I am a water maiden so they do really work." Makes a face at him.

He then gives her a 'Riiight' look and replied, "Of course. Must make it easier to not have to find a babysitter that way."
no subject
"Yeah if only it was that easy."
no subject
Casey nodded. "I didn't think it was."
no subject
She snapped out of her tired look and smiled, "it could be worse, I'm really lucky I guess."
no subject
"So who's watching the rugrat?"
no subject
"Grandma and Grandpa, thank God. Sometimes it's nice to get out of the house, and I feel guilty for saying that."
no subject
"Hey, you do deserve a break once in awhile too."
no subject
"Actually I don't think I do, something in the young unwed mother papers."
no subject
"If you never signed those papers, they agreement was never binding," Casey then smirked a bit.
no subject
Tilting her head to the side she put her hands on her hips and gave him a look. "You don't really sign them, they are kind of just thrust upon you."
no subject
"I see. Might want to talk to a lawyer then." Casey was having fun with this. Maybe since he already made plans to never have the life of the mini van and the Costco trips.
no subject
Salome continued to fix him with her "are you crazy" stare, "I should talk to . . ." She shook her head stopping that train of thought. "I don't need to talk to a lawyer, you just need to have a kid."
no subject
His eyes go a bit wide and he gives Salome a sort of 'WTF?' look. "Me? Have a kid?"
no subject
Salome loves the WTF looks from him, and if he can tease her, she'll tease right back. "Awhhh yeah! You'd be a good dad, I can see it with your mini van and the soccer team in the back . . . Or is it baseball? I like soccer."

no subject
"You'll have a golden retriever too!"
