Halloween Party (open RP)

Chuck donned his ren faire ruffled shirt and vest once again. Although he would eventually break into the Sandworm costume, he thought to have something costume-ish on in the meantime.

The courtyard outside Chuck and Ellie's apartment was decorated with Halloween lights and spooky decorations. Music played as costumed guests mingled with one another while a couple were helping themselves to the snacks and punch set up on a table at the edge of the courtyard.

Actually, they're all exhausted from the cleaning. On the 30th and 31st, we clean absolutely everything as clean as it can get because we do not do anything until after the 4th, except eat, drink, watch the dawn and go to a temple.

Hiro nods. "Christmas is just a day people give some presents. You get more presents and usually more money at Shogatsu."

"Wow. Here Christmas is a very big deal. People go crazy the day after Thanksgiving trying to get gifts on sale. I've worked Black Friday...it's nuts."

"That is all of December in Japan. New toys, new electronics. Everywhere goes insane."

"That's December here too. I guess that's why so many new movies and games get released this time of year. That way they're just in time to be given as presents."

"It is. Especially last year. But that's a long story." Chuck then gives Hiro a sort of, 'If you know what I mean' look.

Hiro nods, understanding. "You will have to tell me about it some time." He puts a hand on Chuck's shoulder. "If you need to get away from it all, call me and we will head somewhere away from the Buy More."
