TM #266 - Start something.
ooc: Obviously meta. :)
Please do. Like a petition? Or maybe start getting your friends to watch the show?
If you know any Nielsen families, we really could benefit from getting them to tune in. Cuz right now, our show is, as they say 'on the bubble.'
NBC hasn't made an official decision yet on the show's future but zap2it.com reported the new entertainment chief Angela Bromstad has said that while she's a fan of shows like "Chuck" and "Life," she wants both "quality and ratings" from the network's lineup going forward.
Our show hasn't quite done all that well ratings wise but if you look at them, they've slowly been on the rise since the third episode of the season. But our demos are a bit split so we need that 18-49 demo to go up a bit more too.
It's all ratings and demos, you know?
Hopefully, with the 3-D episode airing the day after the Super Bowl, people will start tuning in and stay tuned in. Cuz we kinda need them to do so.
Or else there won't be a season three...
S-so...any help you can give us is much appreciated! Thanks!

Also Meta
Re: Also Meta
But...I mean...how was it when...well, that cancellation thing happened to you?
Re: Also Meta
I only had 12 episodes before my show was canceled, so I didn't really get a chance like you to get established. I was still sad to see it go. If we had gotten a second season, I bet we would have lasted a long time.
Re: Also Meta
Aw, that's too bad, Connie. I can't believe you didn't even get a full season order. Sci-Fi should have been more patient with your show!
Re: Also Meta
That probably doesn't make you feel any better.
Re: Also Meta
Re: Also Meta
Re: Also Meta
That...honestly makes no sense.
Re: Also Meta
Re: Also Meta
It's really, really, not fair.
I'm still kinda bitter with the Sci-Fi channel myself. They were supposed to air reruns of my show but like after 4 episodes, just stopped.
Re: Also Meta
See, just further proof Sci-Fi is just run by idiots.
Re: Also Meta
It is. My mun still can't believe they canceled Mystery Science Theater either. (And she's fully aware that was about 10 years ago.)

Or like, you know, whatever end game there is...either a sans Intersect life or me as a spy or something...

But being stuck on a frozen mountain...that's...harsh.

ooc
Season 1 was NOT fun to end.
And of course there is talks that the writer is going to end us next season anyway, which is kinda depressing.
Re: ooc
It's depressing but on the plus side at least things will get resolved and you won't be stuck in limbo post cancellation.
