The How's My Driving Meme

Yeah, I think this has gone around before. But I don't remember if I ever gave my thoughts on how I play Chuck the last time or if I just asked others for feedback.

Oh well, I'll critique myself this time around regardless.

I've played Chuck now for just over two years. When I started playing him, I was worried I wouldn't be able to pull him off. And I really wanted to be able to do him justice since he's a character I enjoy a lot. As time went on, I feel I got a better handle on his voice though of late, I feel I may have lost some of that due to lack of time playing and writing him. (That and he hasn't had any new source material since April.)

Still, I really enjoy playing him. He's fairly canon, save for some other muses knowing his secret. He used to have non-canon verses but mostly, those have faded, save for the future verse which shows up now and then in prompts.

So, how is my driving? Anything I need to work on?

Yeah, I'm not completely happy with Awesome knowing, but I think it'll help keep Ellie in the dark and let the spy vs. normal life. The suspension of belief on Chuck being always able to come up with an excuse will be better off having an ally.

Morgan would be good. It's going to hurt, though, especially if he finds out that Awesome's known longer. (Though I guess he could excuse it with Awesome technically being family and keeping Ellie safe).

Oh good! Hopefully the pace will pick up when the season starts up.

Exactly. We know Chuck has trouble when he always has to make up a cover story as to where he was and then blurts out weird things about Sarah having a spastic colon or something. So, maybe Awesome can help out to cover for Chuck.

Oh definitely. Plus Chuck could tell Morgan the truth - Awesome found out whereas he's actually telling Morgan. So...maybe that'll lessen the blow.

I hope so. I'd love for someone to pick up Morgan again especially.

Hopefully, but I think Morgan would forgive a lot from Chuck except him not telling him until everyone else knew.

Yeah, Chuck needs his Morgan.
