I am both orderly and instinctive. I value community and group identity, defining myself by the social group I am a part of. At best, I'm selfless and strong-willed; at worst, I'm unoriginal and mindless.

You are not sheepish!

Love the icon, Hiro.

But...I kinda can be. Or more was. I used to be a lot more shy and reserved.

There's a difference between being shy and a sheep. A shy person does not have to be a sheep and not all sheep are necessarily shy.

No, that's true. But sometimes being bashful is referred to as sheepish.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2010-05-29 11:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Which is not fair to people who are just shy.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
No, it's not. Because calling someone a 'sheep' kinda means they're a blind follower. And shy people aren't that.

No, but I suppose people assume that if they don't speak loudly then they agree with everything.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2010-06-02 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
Which is not smart to assume, but too many people want to. They do not want to think for themselves.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2010-06-03 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
No, it's not. You know what happens when you assume, right? *grins*

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2010-06-04 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yes.

But the saying goes 'you make an ass out of you and me.' A little play on the spelling of 'assume.'

*It takes Hiro a few seconds to work it out. After all, English isn't his first language.* Oh...Oh! That is funny.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2010-06-05 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
*grins* I always thought it was too.

It is!
