OOC: Chuck meets Heroes

Came across this interview with Zachary Levi and Adam Baldwin. There's a section where Zach talks about the idea of such a crossover.

Kinda funny...some of it is kinda on the lines of what some us muns discussed. *g*

I'd think that would be fun if NBC ever did it since I like both shows.

I get what Zach's saying about how there could be a difference of the tone of the show, but if it was a sorta 'Company wants to use Chuck for their own purposes' plot, that could keep in the Heroes dramatic tone, I think.

Yeah, Awesome kills me.

That's true. There is enough drama that angst isn't too completely out of place (as opposed to say "Scrubs").

I always felt that Bryce felt relieved that Chuck knew. That it was something had bothered him since the day it happened.

Ah yes, OT3 - Chuck/Bryce/Sarah...

It's kinda hard to go from being a near-genius at Stanford to being the head of the Nerd Herd and Bryce has to feel horrible seeing what's happened to Chuck because of what he's done.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
Right, right. Sometimes on 'Scrubs' they'd get a little too dramatic and it would seem out of place. At least to me.

But I don't think Bryce knows that Chuck knows the truth about why he was kicked out of Stanford. Because when Bryce is outside Chuck's apartment and asks to talk to Sarah, Chuck says flat out to Bryce, "You got me kicked out of Stanford" in a rather cold tone. Bryce doesn't say anything about it and Chuck doesn't say something to the effect of "you might have had good intentions though."

So part of me thinks Bryce doesn't know that Chuck knows. But it's hard to say.

Yeah, definite OT3.

I think you're right about Bryce feeling bad about what he did though but I think it took some time for Bryce to understand the repercussions of what he did first.

The show never explained why Chuck couldn't get a better job than the one he has now. But my thought is the background checks companies do really hurt Chuck's chances. Maybe they came back with 'expelled' as the reason for not completing the degree, you know?

Second to the scary Sylar guy you told me about?

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, drama on "Scrubs" just doesn't fit unless it's OTT.

I dunno. I think Bryce might be somewhat suspicious that Chuck knows. After all, it wouldn't be news to either of them that Bryce got Chuck kicked out, but the way Chuck brings it up would probably clue him in that Chuck knows.

Actually, the fact that he supposedly cheated and got expelled would definitely keep most companies from touching him with a 10yard pole.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, the first was Sylar. Unfortunately, he did not stay dead.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
Yup.

Hmm maybe. But Chuck says after that, "Why would I help you?" If he acted like he knew, I don't think he would have said that. Just my thought.

Yeah. There was no way he could prove he was wrongfully accused. If he could, then he'd have a shot maybe.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
Is he...you know...like not able to die? Or like...only a certain way kills him type of being? Or maybe...well, nobody knows for sure yet?

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 01:05 am (UTC)(link)
No, I do not think he has stolen that power, but he is very hard to kill. Like gokiburi.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know. Considering that Chuck's still very unhappy about the fact that his life is in shreds, I don't think he'd want to help Bryce anyway. Especially with Sarah in the mix. So, I can still see him saying that whether or not he knows.

Yup. Poor Chuck. Life is miserable.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm. That's true. It could be just all the bitterness coming out.

*pets Chuck*

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
Goki...? Oh yeah! A cockroach.

Those things probably would survive a nuclear war.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
Frustration, too. The whole, "I know you screwed me, but I can't prove it" thing. It's got to hurt in a lot of ways.

*Hiro brings him a pizza.* Life cannot be too bad if you have a pizza. *And he didn't even get it from Japan.*

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
*Hiro looks stunned.* That explains much. I had not thought of that. Perhaps he is part gokiburi.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
It's like "I know you screwed me, but you sorta did it to save me. But by saving me, you made my life kinda pathetic. And even though I know you saved me, I dunno if I can let you know that."

Or something. Way too complicated. *g*

Pizza is good. Pizza is very good. *Chuck thanks Hiro and happily munches on a slice.*

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
Yup. Life sucks when your best friend thinks he's looking out for you.

Japanese pizza has corn. Apparently you pretty much can't get pizza in Japan without it.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
It's sorta the joke of those creatures. They are very hard to kill so the joke is, even if, say, mankind is wiped out in a nuclear war, the cockroaches would still be alive and well.

Yeah, it's pretty dark humor...

Um...maybe? Kinda freaky if he was though...

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 02:42 am (UTC)(link)
*Hiro's face screws up.* That means if I cut off his head, he will still live for 2 more weeks.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
*shudders* True.

But...maybe like you can put him somewhere where he won't hurt anyone for 2 weeks.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
To bad there is no airlock. I could push him into space and no one will see him.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
Pizza with corn. Different...

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm. Maybe you could put him in a bomb shelter. Cuz they're kinda sealed off.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
One that closes on the outside.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it weirds me out when my friends talk about it.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
So...uh...you think even headless he could still do a lot of damage though?

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2007-12-21 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
He has telekinesis. He could wildly wave his arms about and he might hit us.
