OOC: Chuck meets Heroes
Came across this interview with Zachary Levi and Adam Baldwin. There's a section where Zach talks about the idea of such a crossover.
Kinda funny...some of it is kinda on the lines of what some us muns discussed. *g*

I'd think that would be fun if NBC ever did it since I like both shows.
I get what Zach's saying about how there could be a difference of the tone of the show, but if it was a sorta 'Company wants to use Chuck for their own purposes' plot, that could keep in the Heroes dramatic tone, I think.

Bad Bob. *whack him with stick*

Chigau! I won't let you or your evil blondes ever turn Ando to the dark side of The Force!

I don't know where you got the impression that we're evil, Hiro. We're simply doing what's best for everyone. Sometimes certain measures are required for the greater good.

*Hiro growls. And that sword of his is looking awful pointy.*

*Bob slowly walks away. He really does not want to be stabbed. Being stabbed by a comic book geek? Even worse!
I resent that, Bob.*no subject

But yeah, I can see Claire would be a touchy subject for Bob and all. Plus she's a little young and Casey would smack him saying something like, "Keep your eyes off her. You want Dateline at your door?" ;)
no subject
HAHA! Dateline really needs to show up to somebody's door. *coughsBOBcoughs* :P
no subject
Heh. Yeah, I think Dateline would should up at Bob's door.
And maybe even at Matt/Mohinder's place. Two grown men with a little girl living with them... *giggles*
no subject
The really should. This other muse in my head is going "I TOLD YOU I WAS ON TO HIM! WHY DOES NOBODY LISTEN TO MEEEE! He stares, and it's wrong!" *pushes her back to her corner*
HAHA! That wouldn't be good for anyone. Run M3 run! They want to tear you apart!
no subject
*snerk* Don't you just love when your muses go after each other? ;)
But yeah, that would be a fun crack!fic. Cuz seriously, Dateline now is all these 'to catch the really creepy sickos of the world' stuff.
I guess there weren't enough exploding SUVs left in the world. *g*
No, it wouldn't. But seriously, there would be a ton of questions. 'So...how did you exactly gain legal custody of this girl?' I mean, yeah...we know Molly's parents are dead, but nobody in her family claimed her? Or wonders where she is? Maybe she's really that lonely of a girl.
That's kinda sad really...now that I think about it.

Of course, Chuck doesn't just like blondes. He liked Lou a lot and she was a brunette. *g*

Bad slasher! Bad!

But that's just me. *g*

Oh that would be weird putting those two together. At least to me.
Of course in my head, Chuck turns on a dime on how he feels about Bryce. He respects some things about him but still has some moments where he wishes he could have a free shot and punch him.
no subject
I think that's why I see it with Chuck and Bryce. There's a respect each of them have for the other, but there's still the very sore spot between them. Makes for more angst (which is rather strange to think about for "Chuck").
no subject
Angst yes, definitely. Not so weird the show has it since it's not a straight up comedy. At least to me. If you got dramatic elements, angst sorta shows up.
There are a couple spots I think with Chuck towards Bryce. While he knows why Bryce got him kicked out of Stanford, Bryce doesn't (or shouldn't) know that Chuck knows the truth. And yet, he never attempted to defend or say anything to address that when Chuck called him out on it.
And of course, there's the love triangle with Sarah. Plus Bryce was a bit cold with the whole 'you live with your sister?' That he said he was sorry for at least.
no subject
That's true. There is enough drama that angst isn't too completely out of place (as opposed to say "Scrubs").
I always felt that Bryce felt relieved that Chuck knew. That it was something had bothered him since the day it happened.
Ah yes, OT3 - Chuck/Bryce/Sarah...
It's kinda hard to go from being a near-genius at Stanford to being the head of the Nerd Herd and Bryce has to feel horrible seeing what's happened to Chuck because of what he's done.
no subject
But I don't think Bryce knows that Chuck knows the truth about why he was kicked out of Stanford. Because when Bryce is outside Chuck's apartment and asks to talk to Sarah, Chuck says flat out to Bryce, "You got me kicked out of Stanford" in a rather cold tone. Bryce doesn't say anything about it and Chuck doesn't say something to the effect of "you might have had good intentions though."
So part of me thinks Bryce doesn't know that Chuck knows. But it's hard to say.
Yeah, definite OT3.
I think you're right about Bryce feeling bad about what he did though but I think it took some time for Bryce to understand the repercussions of what he did first.
The show never explained why Chuck couldn't get a better job than the one he has now. But my thought is the background checks companies do really hurt Chuck's chances. Maybe they came back with 'expelled' as the reason for not completing the degree, you know?
