What is your weapon of choice? I dunno. I can't really fight...

How about the same sex? Uh-huh. Dunno how well I'd be able to defend myself though...

Who was the last person who got really angry at you? Sarah

What is your pet peeve? *shrugs* I don't like when people betray my trust though.

Do you keep grudges, or can you let them go easily? I keep them.

In fact, I've kept one for 5 years.

Have you ever threatened someone's life.... and meant it? Not really.

Name a person you've been meaning to contact, but haven't? I can't really think of anyone.

Are you fat? Um...not really.
+ + + + + +

+GREED+

How many credit cards do you own? A couple

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? Help pay off Ellie's student loans and maybe help get her a house. And then maybe get one for me.

And...that would be the end of it right there.

Would you rather be rich or famous? Well, being rich does make things easier. I dunno about famous. I'm kinda shy.

Would you accept a boring job if it meant that you would make megabucks? I accepted a boring job that doesn't pay well. So...hey, yeah, I probably would.

Would you ever step on anyone, just to get to the top? No.

Would you kill your grandfather after reading in his will that he's left you hundreds of thousands of dollars? Hell no!

Okay, seriously...who is writing these questions?
+ + + + + +

+PRIDE+

What's one thing that you have done that you're most proud of? Saving Ellie's life. A pity she can't know.

I think that would be going back to Stanford. Sorta 'facing my fears' in a way.

What's one thing you have done that your parents are most proud of? Uh...well...my dad wasn't around much and my mom sorta left Ellie and I one day. So...I guess I kinda will never know?

Wow, he's REALLY good then!

*looks up*

Just one more flight of stairs to the roof.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-01 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. I told him to try out for the Olympic team, but he laughed.

*Hiro is panting a little* Ok. I can make that.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-01 06:14 am (UTC)(link)
Really? I'm sure he'd do pretty well.

*continues climbing the stairs, panting a bit too*

ooc: BTW, Happy New Year!

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-01 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
That's what I told him.

*When they get to the top he leans against the wall, catching his breath.*

Ok, now I am good.

Same to you!

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-01 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
*rests for a moment*

Okay, I think I'm good too. *opens the door that leads out onto the roof and looks out over the city*

Wow...quite a view from up here...

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-01 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
Wow, it is. I have not been up here before. Perhaps I should come up here to practice.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, seems like a good place to do so.

Well...speaking of practicing...I guess I could try that flying thing again.

*begins to think about flying again*

Hmm. At this rate, I'm gonna have to wish for pixie dust.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
Try jumping into the air.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
*jumps up and comes right back down*

Maybe the whatever it is doesn't want us to make ourselves more powerful. Because maybe if we were able to keep gaining new abilities, we'd become more powerful than him/her/it, you know?

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
I had not thought of that. But surely a being that can create all this and give us our wishes would not have a problem with someone who just wants to fly?

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
True. Maybe we gotta just be more roundabout in how we ask to be able to do it.

But it's probably a good thing. It means Casey won't be able to wish for the ability to read our minds.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
That is good. We should make our places impervious to spying. Make it so that bugs won't work.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
That's an idea. We could try that.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
Of course, the scary man will probably try to make his bugs impervious to everything we do, so perhaps we should have something that makes things up for his recordings.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
And whatever it makes up should be just random stuff that would be of no interest to him. Like...you and I debating which Star Trek captain was the best.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
Mmmhmm. Perfect! Although, who do you think is the best "Star Trek" captain?

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
*grins* Seems like we'll have this conversation recorded before Casey gets a chance to setup!

Oh, well you know Kirk was the first. There's something to be said for how he was able to pioneer the role, you know? Even if he overacted sometimes. *chuckles*

Picard was pretty cool though. I mean, taking on the Borg? Becoming Locutus? Totally awesome plotline.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
I think that Kirk was the best. He knew exactly what needed to be done and he would listen to his people, but in the end it was his decision. That is the sign of a good leader.

But you have a good point. Locutus was bad-ass.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 05:55 am (UTC)(link)
You definitely have a point. But I don't think really any of the captains were really wishy-washy. Which, hey, they should be. Cuz if the captain is indecisive, it's quite possible an alien attack would be the end of them, you know?

Kirk also was good at the 'don't give me excuse, just results' moments. Of course, Scottie admitted in a Next Generation episode he lied about how long it took him to fix stuff. *laughs*

Locutus was totally bad ass.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
I am not certain I would follow Cisco. He would get too...mudded...mired in the details. Kirk was very good at seeing the heart of the matter.

Scotty would have to exaggerate. It would be hard to work for a Captain who expects immediate results.

I have the scratch kit of the Locutus bust.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-02 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Yup, he was.

Well that and of course the fact that the writers' wrote in those lines to add suspense.

You do? Cool. Is it at your apartment?

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-03 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. There must always be suspense.

*Hiro nods.* Yes, it was a limited edition that was made in Japan.

*He holds the door open so they can head downstairs.*

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-03 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
I'd like to see it then.

*Chuck walks back into the stair well.* Thanks Hiro.

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2008-01-03 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
I am sorry you could not fly. It would be a great power to have.

*They head into Hiro's apartment. It's a bit bigger than it was before. The kitchen is now a western kitchen, instead of a Japanese one. The bedroom is separate from the living room. There are posters in Japanese all over the walls for various movies - especially "Star Trek" and "Star Wars". The walls are stuffed with books in Japanese and English along with models and figures.*

Re: [Locked to Hiro]

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2008-01-03 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe here it takes pixie dust and happy thoughts...like in Peter Pan.

Wow...your place has a lot more added to it since the last time I was here.

ooc: Which apartment is Hiro in? Since Chuck talked to Eric Banyan during the snow storm and his mun put him the 5th floor of the Town Square Apartments in the housing thread (http://community.livejournal.com/shakeitup_bitch/5625.html), I gave Chuck a 5th floor apartment there too. 504 was a a random pick. I told Casey's mun no one lives in 502 or 503 but can edit that if Hiro wants one of those numbers.
