Off to New York (rp with only_pepper)

Chuck could not believe this was happening. Although he had been in contact with Pepper for a couple of weeks about starting his new job, there was something that still seemed surreal about it.

Not too long ago, he felt he was destined to spend the rest of his life behind the Nerd Herd desk. And now, here he was, about to board a private jet to New York.

He physically pinched himself to prove this wasn't all a dream. Right after he did so, he spotted Pepper waiting for him.

"One day, Chuck," she promised. "You'll realize it and before you know it, you'll have an inappropriate car and a yacht and you won't know what to do with all your money."

Chuck bashfully grinned. "If you say so."

She nodded ,beaming. "I do say so. Now sit back, enjoy the ride. We'll be in NYC before you know it."
