TM #386 - Do you have children? If not, do you want them one day?

I don't have any children now. I do wonder what it would be like to have them someday though. But, the spy life...I've seen what's done to my family. Both my parents were part of it and both of them were not part of the lives for my sister and I for several years.

Because of the spy life, I honestly thought they abandoned us only to find out, that wasn't quite true. Especially my mom. My mom even had to lie to me to keep her cover in tact when we found her.

So what happens if Sarah and I have kids? Would we be able to be with them? Would missions call us away for months or years on end? I don't know. Plus, there's always the risk that they would be in danger. What would we have to pretend to keep covers and keep them safe?

I guess the short answer is 'I don't know.' It's a decision with a lot to think about, that's for sure.

Agreed. You should really not listen to Casey when he tells you you have to learn. You are the Intersect and you will use it if you need to.

Also, I'm glad he's now mostly okay with Morgan dating his daughter, Alex. I worried about him for awhile there.

He has a daughter? Morgan is dating her? And he is not dead?

*nods* He only learned about her recently. She was born while he was on a long undercover mission and his mother thought Casey was dead.

At first, it seemed like Casey was gonna kill Morgan for dating his daughter, but now he's seen Morgan's matured and treats Alex well. Plus Alex really cares about Morgan.
