New Year's Eve (open RP)
ooc: This post is open to everyone. Your character can drop by IC, metaly or via bendy time too. Whatever works. :) Feel to play and have fun!
It was a simple party. Snacks, a couple bottles of champagne and sparkling cider were neatly placed on a fold out table decorated with noise makers and party hats.
Guests were gathered in the courtyard just outside of Chuck and Ellie's apartment, chatting with one another.
The Morgan door was temporarily blocked by a small TV broadcasting 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve' in anticipation of the countdown to 2009.

"Hey," she greeted him, smiling brightly.

"I'm just waiting for Morgan to lament the fact we blocked the Morgan door for Ryan Seacrest," he joked to Sarah.

"How long do you think it'll take that to happen?"

Noticing Sarah watching the guests, Chuck lowered his voice and said, "I think mostly it'll be just Awesome and his buddies as well as Ellie and Morgan if Big Mike lets him off work. A couple of my other friends might show up too but I dunno yet."

"What about the friends of yours I haven't met yet? I'd be remiss in my duties as girlfriend if I didn't introduce myself to each and every one of them," she teased, nudging his arm with hers.

She was smiling as she stepped into the courtyard. She spied the table, and walked over to it, depositing the bottle of champagne she'd brought beside the others. Then she turned toward the people scattered about, trying to find a familiar face, or, barring that, someone who looked approachable.

Rachel smiled, and shook her head. "It's where I'm from, but both my mom and my brother were out of town. But that's okay. Really I wanted to take the trip to show Mohinder where I grew up. And to pry him away from his work for a few days. He's been badly needing a break."

"That's too bad they weren't around. But at least you got to take a nice trip down memory lane. Mohinder probably enjoyed the break too. At least...I hope he's not too much of a workaholic to not enjoy the time off."

Knocking on the front door, because that is what polite Doctors do. Granted, he may be wearing a viking hat, sunglasses, and have a long cattle prod in one hand and a timey-wimey detector in the other, but he's polite at least.

Chuck smiled and said to the guest, "Hi. Welcome to Casa Bartowski."

Chuck looks through the bag Hiro provided and grins. He's the most familiar with the Pocky but everything looks interesting. "Would you like me to add these to the snack table?" he offers.

Chuck then took bag of snacks over to the snack table and adds them to others that are there. He then returns to Hiro. "Glad you could make it, by the way."
