TM #386 - Do you have children? If not, do you want them one day?

[Locked to those who know of his secret life.]

I don't have any children now. I do wonder what it would be like to have them someday though. But, the spy life...I've seen what's done to my family. Both my parents were part of it and both of them were not part of the lives for my sister and I for several years.

Because of the spy life, I honestly thought they abandoned us only to find out, that wasn't quite true. Especially my mom. My mom even had to lie to me to keep her cover in tact when we found her.

So what happens if Sarah and I have kids? Would we be able to be with them? Would missions call us away for months or years on end? I don't know. Plus, there's always the risk that they would be in danger. What would we have to pretend to keep covers and keep them safe?

I guess the short answer is 'I don't know.' It's a decision with a lot to think about, that's for sure.

I am not the most coordinated of people. It took me a while to get used to line dancing, too. I was always behind or moving the wrong way.

Don't worry...so was I when I first learned these group dances.

But they are great for parties.

The Robot, too. Molly and I had a lot of fun dancing that.

Oh yeah, that's a fun one too!

I don't mind dancing now. Except for...dancing with spies that are trying to kill me.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-14 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
I can understand why that would not be fun. Dancing is about fun, not killing people.

Yes, and the Tango should not be a matter of life and death!

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-14 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
Of course, that was one of my first missions...

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-14 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
I would assume that. Unless you made her very angry, I cannot see Sarah doing that to you.

Actually, I was dancing with an arms dealer, La Ciudad. And I was taught the tango by Captain Awesome...only...he taught me the girl's part...

*For a second, Hiro manages to keep his face straight, but then he snickers.* It would not do you well to know the woman's part of such a dance.

I thought I told you that story. Guess not.

But...it was, um...embarrassing to say the least. Cuz you're right, that's the type of dance where you need to know the guy's part.

Tango is a very passionate dance, neh?

Unfortunately, killing is often a passionate thing as well.

I think so. Casey is more the type for the real guns.

ooc: Oops, forgot the word 'use' up there!

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-15 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Hopefully he does not try to force you to use them?

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-15 03:44 am (UTC)(link)
Not really. Besides, he's got some guns that are too heavy for me to lift.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-15 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
Really, they are that heavy? Or are these the really, really big guns? Like the ones you put rockets in?
