TM #386 - Do you have children? If not, do you want them one day?

[Locked to those who know of his secret life.]

I don't have any children now. I do wonder what it would be like to have them someday though. But, the spy life...I've seen what's done to my family. Both my parents were part of it and both of them were not part of the lives for my sister and I for several years.

Because of the spy life, I honestly thought they abandoned us only to find out, that wasn't quite true. Especially my mom. My mom even had to lie to me to keep her cover in tact when we found her.

So what happens if Sarah and I have kids? Would we be able to be with them? Would missions call us away for months or years on end? I don't know. Plus, there's always the risk that they would be in danger. What would we have to pretend to keep covers and keep them safe?

I guess the short answer is 'I don't know.' It's a decision with a lot to think about, that's for sure.

*nods* It kinda is really.

Ready for the next part?

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-06 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
Not yet. Perhaps we should do this part again?

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-06 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
Sure, no problem. *He demonstrates the steps again.*

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-07 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
*Hiro follows him again, still unsure, but looking a little less uncomfortable.*

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-07 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
Looks like you're getting the hang of this part.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-07 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
So you think we should try the next?

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-07 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
Ok, I am ready. *Not really, but he's willing to try.*

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-07 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
Well, this part is basically the same as part one, except all the steps are with the opposite feet.

So, take your left foot and step to the left. Then take your right foot and step towards the left, crossing your right foot a bit behind the left foot. Then, step to the left with the left foot, uncrossing your feet. Finally, you gotta step so your left and right feet are together.

And that's part two.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-07 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
Ok, that helps - it being the same.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-07 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Pretty much. We can practice this part a couple times and then do parts 1 and 2 together and then move onto part 3....if you think that'll help.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-07 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds like a very good plan.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-08 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
Okay, then let's start from the beginning again.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-08 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
*Hiro sets himself. Although he's definitely more comfortable with it, he's still looking more at what Chuck's doing as opposed to paying attention to his own feet.*

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-08 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
*Chuck continues to demonstrate* You're doing pretty good, Hiro!

I think if I did not know how to line dance it would be much harder. I am not exactly well-coordinated.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-09 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
It is definitely a lot like a line dance.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-10 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Quite true. Even though the steps are different, it is definitely a line dance.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-12 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
This part we're stepping backwards instead of to the side.

So we first step back with right foot. Then step back with left foot.

Then step back with right foot. And finally step back with the left and then close the feet together,

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-13 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
*Hiro is ok, until the feet cross and then he nearly falls on his face.* I think I need work on that one.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-13 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
Think of it as the first part, only going backwards instead of sideways.

[identity profile] powered-otaku.livejournal.com 2011-06-13 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
I am not the most coordinated of people. It took me a while to get used to line dancing, too. I was always behind or moving the wrong way.

[identity profile] nerdherdchuck.livejournal.com 2011-06-13 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
Don't worry...so was I when I first learned these group dances.
